12 of 12 - February

6:49 am [/obvious]
This is what time I woke up today. Unfortunately, it's what time I'm supposed to leave the house. Oops.

6:52 am
When I get out of bed in the morning, the cat runs out to the living room, meowing and begging me to pat her. Then she falls over and rolls around. I know. Sane, huh?

7:00 am
Ok. I was making The Boy's sandwich, and I couldn't find the twist tie for the bread bag. This is where I found it. Did I mention I'm not good in the mornings?

7:18 am
Moms of little boys, rejoice: some day your son will take out the trash, too!

7:18 am
Does this look familiar to anyone?

7:19 am
Running SOOOOO late.

7:35 am
I've just dropped The Boy off at school. This is the wall of buses I drive by every morning.

7:45 am
Red light.

Then I went to work. I have no pictures of my workday. As we work with people's personal information, cameras are strictly forbidden at work. There's no rule against them in the lobby, cafeteria, and the hallways outside of our offices, but I feel a bit self-conscious snapping random pictures around a bunch of strangers. Perhaps I'll work up to it later in the year. Anyway, let's use our imagination for a minute:

8:15 am
Pretend this is a picture of me, in the kitchen at work, getting my first cup of coffee of the day.

4:45 pm
Time to go home! This is the building where I work.

5:25 pm
Dinner. It was leftover, but it was yummy. Ground turkey with cauliflower, green pepper, mushrooms and celery, in a sauce made of chicken broth, fresh ginger, garlic, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, and cayenne pepper.

8:45pm
A while back, my pants were too long, so I took them up. Then they were too loose, so I took them in. That made them too short. So I'm taking them back down. 3 pair.

9:30 pm
And again, "Come to bed, Mommy. Now."

Great shots! I don't get the WD ~ but I haven't had a car for almost 2 years now, so... Still, great shots.

For some reason the WD does look familiar, Walt Disney is the only thing that comes to mind, but I know that can't be it. Got to love the irony of dropping your kid off at school then passing the bus barn... lol.
I can understand not allowing cameras at your work. I don't know about you , but I've found some people get so paranoid and just weirded out if you want to take a picture in a place they're not used to seeing cameras at, even if it's not of them. When I was in Hawaii, I took my camera everywhere and no one seemed to care or even notice.

Wow! You look great making your coffee at work. LOL! Great idea!

And off the 12 of 12...I totally loved your Fanvid of Serenity/Firefly. It was a great show!

I get the WD thing [/feels speshul]. Of course, spending what - 4 years? - there, I should really recognise it!

I'm not that good in mornings either, so I understand the "Where in Smeg's name did I put...?"!

Enjoyed your 12 of 12. Especially the one of The Boy taking the trash. There is hope for the future generation of men afterall.

I also love the cat. It looks like one I had back in my 20s. I miss that cat. :-(

Ah, Laurie - your 12 of 12 is making me crack up!

And really - who needs to see the 8 to 5 pictures anyway? We want the good stuff before and after hours!

How come I've never seen one of those WD stickers before, and WHERE DO I GET ONE?

If you have the time, could you PM me the recipe for the turkey burger dish? It sounds divine and is right in line with the way I'm trying to eat now.

Heehee - my cat does that living-room run-and-sprawl greeting too.

Yay WD reference! I feel like I'm in some sort of secret society now, seeing that not everyone who reads your blog would be familiar with it! ;)
