Anyway, I am trying to decide what to have autographed, and I need some feedback, please. I was thinking of having Alan Tudyk sign my Death at a Funeral DVD (the paper cover, under the plastic), and having Nathan Fillion sign my Slither DVD the same way. Is this too weird? I think I prefer it over a photograph, because, well, what am I going to do with a photograph? A DVD will sit on my DVD shelf with all my other DVDs, and when I take it out to play it, I will see the autograph. *sigh*
Also, I wanted to get Morena Baccarin and Jewel Staite's autographs, too. At first I was thinking I'd like everyone's together on something Firefly. But I realized that none of my Firefly or Serenity DVDs have Morena or Jewel's picture on it. I could still do one of them, but then I'd have to get Alan and Nathan to sign it, too, and I think I really want their autographs on the other DVDs I mentioned above.
So here's my next idea: I already have a Serenity comic book signed by Alan and Nathan that I got on Ebay.

So my decision has come to this: 1) have Morena and Jewel sign the cover already signed by Alan and Nathan OR 2) have Morena and Jewel each sign the comic with their own picture on it.
I think I am leaning toward option one, but is it weird to have someone autograph something that their picture isn't even on?
And also, how much of a major fucking geek am I? But I am spending a whole boat-load of money that I really do not even have to do all this, and I want to get the most bang for my buck. Hence, the organizing. I am rather concerned that when I do get face-to-face with these people, that I am going to totally melt down into a squealing fangirl. Seriously, what am I going to say to these people? I've already warned The Boy that he is under no circumstances allowed to tell Alan Tudyk that I want to have his redheaded babies.
Edited to add:
The Boy walked into the room and I gave him a pop quiz:
Me: So what are we NOT going to say to Alan Tudyk when we meet him?
Boy: That you want his seed.

I think I would have them sign the comics their pictures are on. I doubt they'd mind signing the other one, but I would want to spread the autographs out so that no matter what comic I was reading, a cast member has signed it.
I have no insight to offer regarding autographs. I just wanted to say that your organization skills boggle my mind. Come live with me and keep me on track. Please?
I also have no insight to offer, I just wanted to say that your son is The Best!
What Eileen said. Your son rocks!
Wot Annika said.
Also, your son's wit just cracks me up. Heee!
Also, and I don't mean to be pushy here, really I don't, but your schedule doesn't seem to mention the part where you find Tahmoh Penikett and wrap him up and send him over to England to me. I'm sure there's a logical explanation for this omission...
;)
I didn't want that part mentioned in the public forum, for legal reasons. You understand. ;)
What bettie said. Wouldn't it be totally awesome if you eventually got everyone's signatures? Then I would totally have a custom-made frame to show off the mural aspect of the covers and hang it in a place of honor in the living room.
