My Curved Log Cabin quilt is FINALLY finished! I started this one back in June, I think. I slowly and steadily got all the squares done, then sewed them together to make the top...then things slowly fizzled out. As I tried to quilt it, the thread on the bobbin of the sewing machine kept jamming up. Nothing I tried to do helped it. It was incredibly frustrating and slow, and I finally decided I needed to take a break, and put the whole mess away for a couple of months.
A couple of weeks ago I bought a new sewing machine (and, oh, it's so fancy!), and now it's done!
This one is for MY bed. :D
I was standing on the arm of the sofa and holding the camera all the way up to the ceiling, and I still could not get the whole quilt in frame.

Dang, that is BEAUTIFUL. Are you taking custom orders?
Simply breathtaking! As per usual, of course. I continue to stand in awe of your gift.
Oooooh, it's so purty! Congrats on finally getting it finished, I bet you feel great. :)
Thanks, guys. Yes, I am so pleased it's finally done. This is one where I saw a picture of one and said, "OMG I HAVE TO MAKE THAT!!!"
Annika, that's not the first time I've been asked that. I am going to take a little break from quilting right now, and see what my house looks like without quilting paraphernalia all over it. But after that, I think I will like to make some quilts for other folks. :D
AB-SO-LUTE-LY GORGEOUS!!!
That is so freakin' gorgeous!! You really need to sell these.
So pretty!
You do know that you can sell these things for, like, hundreds and hundreds of dollars, right?
Laurie, you have such an amazing talent. Your quilts are the coolest! I'm with Jenn... you should definately be selling these bad boys.

Thanks to my mum, I actually know what log cabin is. And that looks bloody great. Well done! And yes, if you fancy selling your quilts, I'm betting you could do it, no problem.
Phe. Nominal.
(And... what Jenn & Sheryl said.)
