Apparently, she'd given it to my sister a little while ago. My parents are staying at sis's house this weekend, watching their daughter while they took their son out of state for some sports thing. So when my mom saw that it was still sitting in sis's freezer, and she knew I'm sick, she stole it back and brought it to me!
See, now that's opportunistic and sleazy. But it was done with love. :-D
Would it help if youtell your mom that you're using her for soup?
