. Is it normal to have a big, red splotch on my arm at the site of my flu shot? It's sore, which I was expecting, but I don't remember it being so red the other times.

Yes and no. Basically, a flu shot is injecting a poison into your body. The body should react, causing redness, heat, soreness, etc.ness. If it continues for too long, or you get really sick, or you get hives, difficulty breathing, etc. go to your doctor. If you get really bad, call 911. If you get really board, come here and call 911 so we can visit.
I'm a single mom raising The Best Kid Ever™. I'm currently temping while looking for a permanent job, as I was laid off from my job last year. Want to hire me? I enjoy reading, and crafty hobbies like sewing, cross-stitch, and beading. I like to watch movies. I watch entirely too much TV. I worship the very ground Joss Whedon walks on. And I want to have Alan Tudyk's redheaded babies.
